Riven is a fusion of traditional Southern Gospel music with modern worship styles, characterized by rich four-part harmonies, energetic arrangements, and lyrics that combine traditional faith themes with contemporary worship language. Riven has traveled extensively across the nation from Pennsylvania to Florida, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Indiana, & Missouri where they are headquartered around the St. Louis area.
Riven sings both original songs and covers of artists from the Worship and Southern Gospel genres.
In 2025 Riven was nominated for Duo/Gospel Group of the Year by The Josie Music Awards in Nashville. On November 2nd they attended the ceremony at the Grand Ole Opry and stood on the stage to accept that award.
